REFRACTORY or RECURRENT CTCL:
Ontak
Bendaryl 15-50 mg IV/PO 15-30 min prior to ontak
Tylenol 650 mg PO prior to infusion & as needed for fever
Prochlorperazine 10 mg or promethazine 25 mg PO prior to infusion
Dexamethasone 8 mg IV prior to Ontak infusion
Ontak 9-18 ug/kg/day X 5 days [to be infused over 60 minutes but can be shortened on subsequent cycles] |

ONTAK (denileukin diftitox, DAB IL-2)
A chimeric protein combining the full length sequence for IL-2 with the sequence for diphtheria toxin fragments A & B. It targets & intoxicates leukemia & lymphoma cells expressing the high-affinity IL-2 receptor. |
