Caution:
Do not use in patients with gross hematuria
Can check the urine for blood but microscopic hematuria is not a contraindication.
Recommended dose in APL:
2 grams bolus then 2 gramsQ6h. Titrate upward according to the fibrinogen or alpha-2 antiplasmin levels.
